Heroic Hearts Project UK is actively engaged in groundbreaking research at retreats in the Peruvian Amazon, where we study the effects of ayahuasca on military veterans with PTSD.

In addition to the work in Peru, we are collaborating with Imperial College London to investigate the potential of psilocybin in treating traumatic brain injuries.

Looking forward, talks are underway to expand the research to explore the effects of psilocybin on gambling disorders and we are also planning studies to investigate how ayahuasca may benefit individuals with substance use disorders and PTSD in survivors of sexual abuse.
