Research

Heroic Hearts Project UK is actively engaged in groundbreaking research at retreats in the Peruvian Amazon, where we study holistic treatment for military veterans with PTSD.

In addition to the work in Peru, we are collaborating with Imperial College London on new research on treating traumatic brain injuries.

Looking forward, talks are underway to expand the research to gambling disorders and we are also planning studies to investigate how alternative treatments may benefit individuals with substance use disorders and PTSD in survivors of sexual abuse.
